Shirejam Trustee
- Role Purpose:
• Support Scouts Hereford & Worcester successful delivery of Shirejam 2023, and 2026 by building and fostering support as continuous link between Scouts and Shirejam Event
• Board exists of County Commissioner, County Chair and x4 Trustees and a representative from the Three Counties Showground
- Key Accountabilities:
• Support the County Commissioner and the Camp Chief to provide a balanced, adventurous programme against P.O.R. for upto 4,000 young people against a cost-effective model, that is financially modelled and fit for purpose
• Principles and policy of the Scout Association are followed
• Shirejam’s own constitution is maintained correctly applied
• Liaise with key stakeholders Shirejam Trustees, County Commissioner Three Counties Showground Staff
• Establish business needs in terms of accounts, charity status, VAT reporting and other appropaite decisions suitable to ensuring the longevity of Shirejam
